The ultimate goal of this platform is to help expedite the move from a world that runs on state backed fiat currencies, to one that runs on eCash, which I believe will be the dominant, but not exclusive, form of money used around the world. Below are what I see as the major steps that will need to be taken to achieve this goal.

Step 1: Build the thing

The first step I needed to take was to build something that could demonstrate the true power and potential of the eCash currency. A platform that not only allows eCash to be used in all its glory, but can create its own circular economy. With the help of AI, I was finally able to build proofofwriting.com to represent what I'd only been able to envision in years past. As of this writing, the platform is less than a week old. There are still many improvements to be made and the building doesn't stop here. But I believe this site is already a strong contender for offering one of the best user experiences among all crypto applications.

So now that I've built this, what's next?

Step 2: Attract users

The next several weeks and months will be focused on attracting users. I want proofofwriting.com to feel alive. In order to onboard users, I will be promoting the site through social media, holding writing contests, and offering prizes like the recent 15M XEC puzzle I published. And of course I will also be publishing as many quality articles as possible to make sure each time users return to the site, there's something new that is worth reading. Most importantly, I believe that the only way we can achieve product market fit is by offering a magical experience. We only get one shot to make a first impression, so I want to be sure that whenever someone visits this site for the first time, it puts a smile on their face. That's the only way we can win, by being a product people love to use. This is why I've included things like the leaderboard to gamify content creation. Other ideas for the future include referral links, new features for both authors and readers, and whatever else might add more magic to this platform.

Step 3: Scale

Once we achieve reasonable success for step 2, it's all about scaling. Making sure the site continues to run smoothly and securely no matter how many people are on it at one time. We don't want to limit growth due to poor performance. As I'm not a software engineer who specializes in scaling systems, this step will require an expert who is. Elon wants X to be the everything app. I want proofofwriting.com to be excellent at one thing: facilitating positive sum transactions.

Step 4: Change civilization as we know it

I believe that if we can show others what's possible with eCash, it can lead to a further proliferation of eCash applications that will ultimately onboard the masses. These applications will act as pioneers that help educate people on this new form of peer-to-peer electronic cash that can change civilization as we know it.

Whether or not this plan will succeed is anyone's guess. All I know is I'm having fun, I'm not hurting anyone, and I wholeheartedly believe that proofofwriting.com can accomplish all of its goals. As always, thank you for reading, and for the XEC.
