Oil market
Brent crude recently settled around $87–88 after choppy trading and a multi-day decline, with WTI near $82. Prices have eased from spring peaks above $118 as talks continue between Iran and Oman on Hormuz access, though Iran has said the strait would not fully reopen without conditions. Oil inventories have tightened again in some reports.
It’s crazy I just kind of stopped following all the news about the strait. Maybe that’s the goal. To get people to stop caring.
Oil is what’s fueling the global inflation. We still consume too much oil; lithium could be the replacement, but it won’t happen because of the oil monopoly.
