My Family Thinks eCash (XEC) Is a Cult
Every time I talk about eCash (XEC), my family gives me that look.
You know the one.
The look that says, "Here he goes again talking about crypto."
At first, they were curious.
"What is eCash?"
I explained that it's a cryptocurrency designed to be fast, scalable, and easy to use.
"Interesting," they said.
A few months later, I was still talking about eCash.
Then came Avalanche pre-consensus.
Then staking.
Then network upgrades.
Then community contests.
Now whenever I enter the room, someone asks:
"So... how is your eCash religion doing today?"
I tell them it's not a religion.
Religions don't have block explorers.
At family dinners, things get even worse.
My uncle asks about football.
My cousin talks about vacations.
My aunt discusses cooking recipes.
And somehow, within five minutes, I'm explaining why digital cash could change the future of global payments.
Again.
Last week, my mother asked why I spend so much time reading eCash articles.
I replied:
"Research."
She replied:
"That's exactly what conspiracy theorists say."
Fair point.
But here's the funny thing.
The eCash community keeps growing.
People keep building.
Developers keep improving the network.
Writers keep creating content.
And every day, more people discover that crypto is about much more than price charts.
Of course, I still check the XEC price ten times a day.
Okay, maybe twenty.
Fine.
Let's not argue about numbers.
The truth is that being part of the eCash community is actually fun. People share ideas, help newcomers, discuss technology, and celebrate progress together.
So if loving innovation, decentralization, and digital cash makes me look a little obsessed...
I can live with that.
And if one day eCash becomes a global payment network, I already know what my family will say:
"We always believed in it."
Sure.
Just like they always believed I wasn't checking the XEC chart every five minutes.
