Dr. Hasmah—also known as Siti Hasmah—was one of the most prominent figures in Malaysia. Dr. Hasmah and her husband, Dr. Mahathir, shared a marriage spanning 70 years. Hasmah reached the age of 100; born in 1926, she passed away in late 2026. May God have mercy on her. Her husband, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad—who is himself 101 years old—is by her side.
