MultiversX (EGLD) paused its mainnet after detecting an attempted exploit at the virtual-machine layer. MultiversX confirmed that an actor tried to exploit a VM-level atomicity flaw. That produced invalid state changes, meaning some on-chain records (balances or contract state) did not follow the rules the execution engine is supposed to enforce.
