Rugby Union for six years in my early twenties. It got too rough and I got injured multiple times so started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in late 20s. I still practice it but fractured my foot a few months ago and now is not the right time to start again. I am still a white belt sadly aftertraining for about 3-4 years full. But that's just the game. I did some MMA for about six months but it felt too chaotic. I really like the ground fight discipline in BJJ. If I ever started over I'd probably do Western Style boxing. Sadly, in my current line of work brains are needed and impact to head is no bueno. Otherwise I do mostly 20 minute drills 4-5 times a week. Run, lift, pull ups, push ups, upper body, some core etc.
Who all works out in here? And what stuff do you do? Interested to hear When I was young I just did basically football, 11 a side football training and the loads of 5/7 aside during the weeks... Like basically at least 5 days a week. Then after I stopped playing football, I started HIIT cardio and light weights... I've done recently simple military style / prison Burpee workouts which are cool And more recently slower weighted workouts.. But this week I've started back on HIIT cardio that I used to do years ago... Omg they are so hard 😂 sweating buckets I love it, today's effort was an old Shaun T workout Ooft was great fun. Anyway let me know wot U do.
