Something I've realized while going back and forth between POW and X. Since likes are free on X, you get more engagement from lurkers who may not post but will click a like. On POW, since every reaction costs XEC, there's a lot less of that. Another way of looking at it might be that X incentivizes more meaningless interaction, while POW incentivizes more meaningful interactions.
