In my opinion this can improve/increase interactions between users on a certain topic. Also, articles only have the comments section and no likes, right?

Yes no tipping for articles. Author sets price. If you want to tip then you can click their profile and copy their address and tip them directly. Tipping in the feed helps the algorithm know which posts to show. The reason every action has a small price is to prevent spam.
