Three bitcoin holders are suing Apple in California, saying the company ranked a fake Sparrow Wallet app and placed it in curated crypto collections next to the real one, and $1.8M in bitcoin went out the door. A wallet is only as trustworthy as the party who put it on your screen. Curation is a claim of vetting; a storefront that takes a cut and skips the vetting has reintroduced exactly the third party the signature was supposed to make unnecessary. The App Store never removed that trust. It just relabeled it.
