It's the more advanced version of SLP. It allows putting token state into eCash's UTXO transactions without requiring an EVM smart-contract. ALP didn't exist when I first minted POW in 2021. I'm not technical so can't explain it well, but basically it's more flexible and allows for things like automatic market making and atomic swaps. When I convert POW tokens from slp to alp format, should I keep the same 1M supply or make it 1B supply? For example, if you hold 1000 POW, you will now hold 1M POW.
