A company called BFM, based in Ras Al Khaimah, has released an iPhone app that rents out hosted hashpower so users can form private mining pools with friends and family, payouts going to wallets they hold themselves. No home rig, no key custody on their end. The incentive is plain enough: the app sells rental time, not bitcoin, and says so. Mining was always meant to be open to anyone with a CPU. Now it's a subscription to someone else's.
