Here's one, (not for X), and I never talk about my work, but here's one between pals. I was at a new whisky bond facility today. And it's the first time ever at my work I've heard the word Crypto market... Obviously my ear picked up when I heard this... But anyway, this new bond is a maturation warehouse... (Whisky is clear as the raw spirit and it's the storage int he barrel in the low temp high humidity climate that Scotland has which gives it that awesomeness). This facility looked very cool and is a start up... but Anyhoo Only after 3 years, a barrel stored in Scotland can qualify as scotch... This facility is maturing thousands of barrels... Now I've always known people invest in whisky etc etc, however I never knew as whisky in the barrels evaporates (angle share), it's not taxed in the UK (apparently)... So this guy mentioned so it's better than PaxGold as people are taxed on that! Then I'm like, I know this... Then he said instead of people buy the full barrel people will become fractional owners of a barrel and look up something called Real world Asset! AND I'm in my head I'm like, I know exactly wot your doing! No idea which Blockchain or whatever, but it's all going through the FCA and tax people, but thought wow, first time ever at my work coming across something crypto based.. it'll be 3 years until it's officially whisky! But in essence people can buy fractions of a barrel instead of the full barrel! Now the funny thing was I actually thought this when Oddessay came out, image we could have bought fractional tokenised shares of that! I'd have loved that 😂. We need something like this on eCash Anyway thought I'd share a wee work story with you... it's a small world where I am, please don't share on X
