Movie recommendation: Sirāt The title is a word that means path in Arabic. I didn't know anything going in, but it had been recommended to me by someone. All I can say is I wish I'd watched that on the big screen instead of The Odyssey. I enjoyed it because it showed me a part of the world I had no idea existed. The characters were compelling despite knowing almost nothing about them. And the film was filled with images that I could see being framed and put up in a museum exhibit. Overall a great ride that portrayed lives that are so different from my own, but not so different at the same time.
