For a draft save, the simplest and most correct fix is to not require the fields at all. If you keep validation, put the message inline on the field (not at the title) and optionally add a red border.
Bug? When you try to save an article draft a box pops up under the title at the top.
not able to reproduce on iphone or macbook. will keep an eye out for it.
Environment: Brave Browser (Mozilla-compatible), any OS. Steps to Reproduce: 1- Navigate to https://www.proofofwriting.com/ and log in. 2- Click the hamburger menu (β°) in the top-left corner. 3- From the menu, select Dashboard. 4- On the Dashboard, click New Article to open the article editor. 5- Leave all fields empty (or partially filled). 6- Scroll to the bottom of the editor and click SAVE DRAFT. Expected Result: The draft is saved successfully, regardless of incomplete fields. Actual Result: The draft is saved. However, a browser-native validation tooltip appears below the Proof of Writing title reading "Please fill out this field."
I see it. So would it be better to have the error show above the save draft button? for example, if u do enter a title but nothing in the body, it currently says body is required. maybe have it say something for title instead of a tooltip?

but what's the point of saving a draft that is completely blank?
