It's the ticker for Paul Sztorc's Bitcoin fork where he is trying to activate drivechains. He managed to buy the ecash.com domain and so is naming his project eCash as well. They were suppose to launch on August 23 but now they're doing a phased approach and won't officially launch until October 31.
