It doesn't happen often. We just saw someone redeem 7B XECX yesterday, so they probably emptied the hot wallet. Even exchanges like Binance sometimes won't let you withdraw. I think you can understand that. I wouldn't worry about XECX. But if you are worried, just stick to XEC.

You are not forced to use XECx. If you don’t trust it, then just convert to XEC and don’t worry about it.
